It has been great to find the pictures I have taken over the past few years. This picture spoke to me of two Cambodian views that might exist. (How can I pretend to really know their views?) The older woman seemed to be wondering why some foreigner would help build a house in their village, after all the pain and suffering she saw from her own people, how could she believe a stranger would help? Maybe the younger woman had a lighter heart and hope for the future because she did not endure what the older woman lived through? Or maybe it was just their moods. How can I know, really? I just thought their expressions were great.
