Gugang Tower on Kinmen Island

On a recent trip to Kinmen Island, this tower caught my eye from the road. The Gugang Tower is a beautiful sight on an island that is full of military history. Situated near a lake, you can walk around the lake and enjoy the tower from various vantage points and then go enjoy the interior and view from the top. The tower is 16 meters tall and was built in 1964.
